In internal combustion engines, Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) is a nitrogen oxide (NO. x) emissions reduction technique used in petrol and diesel engines.

EGR works by recirculating a portion of an engines exhaust gas back to the engine's cylinders.

A faulty EGR valve can cause problems with the flow and operation of the EGR system, leading to performance issues including a reduction in power, reduced acceleration and decreased fuel efficiency.

EGR valves can get stuck either open or closed due to a build-up of soot particulate, carbon deposits and dirt from fuel.

DPF removal and EGR block off is a commonly used method alongside a remap to give a solution to most issues surrounding your DPF or EGR valve. Doing this can see benefits such as a smoother delivery of power and improved power.

This being said we as a company do NOT take part in any DPF or EGR removals. However, we provide our services to have the EGR disabled in a way that allows your vehicle to still able to function without the problem deteriorating.
